Here, Frostine quickly poses during an impromptu shoot. (Due to time constraints, her ribbons are untucked.)“I started formal ballet classes at the age of 6 or 7 and continued until I was 16 or 17,” Frostine told BuzzFeed.
When she was a teenager, Frostine quit ballet because of the pressure she felt to be thin.

“I just could not meet the demands of my instructors, and I didn’t really want to either,” she said.
When she turned 18, Frostine discovered burlesque.
“I started to explore different types of dance that gave me freedom to express myself in a body-positive way,” she said. “Burlesque showcased my love of dance, art, music, and fashion.”
But when she started performing, she found herself incorporating ballet into her acts.
A few of Frostine’s childhood dance friends had become ballet teachers, so Frostine paid them a visit. “They helped me brush up on my skills, and they allowed me to go at my own pace.”
“I like the structure and discipline that it takes to perform ballet,” she said.
“I get most of my posing, hand movements, and gestures from the grace of ballet — it makes me feel elegant and strong.”
Her advice to young ballerinas: If you love it, stick with it, but it’s OK if your interests change, too.
“If your goals are to become a principal dancer, don’t give up like I did,” she said. “But also remember to put your dignity and beliefs first.”
“Dance makes my body feel alive, and I try my best to do the art form justice — this includes loving my body.”

BSNL Recruitment Through GATE 2017 Score Begins, 2510 JTO Posts
BSNL recruitment 2017 (through GATE score) has begun! Interested candidates can apply at externalbsnlexam.com. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started the online registration process for recruitment of Graduate Engineers to the post of Junior Telecom Officers (JTOs) from open market/ external candidates. Recruitment will be through GATE 2017 score. A total of 2510 vacancies have been announced. As per the official notification, “The JTO(T)( Junior Telecom Officer Telecom) is a Circle-based Cadre and the candidates would be selected against the vacancies of a particular Circle. (The candidates are required to serve in that particular Circle until they are promoted to All India Cadre). However, BSNL has the right to post any selected JTO(T)( Junior Telecom Officer Telecom) to any of the Circles either temporarily or on permanent basis.”
Candidates shall have to submit their application on or before 6 April 2017. Candidates, interested to apply should have a valid GATE registration ID (13 digits) for applying to the post. Candidates must also be in the age group of 18-30 years. In addition to this the major eligibility condition is the educational qualification: BE/BTech. or equivalent in Telecom/ Electronics/ Radio/ Computer/ Electrical/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation Engineering or M.Sc. (Electronics)/M.Sc.(Computer Science).
Online registration for BSNL recruitment will continue till 6 April 2017. OC and OBC candidates have to pay examination fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 300 for SC/ ST candidates).
